In this video Jay presents his
1931 Henderson KJ Police Special vintage bike with a 4-cylinder, 80-ci engine. Original and unrestored, this is Jay’s second 1931 KJ in his collection. Lot’s of history behind this machine: Henderson, made between 1912 and 1931, were the largest and fastest motorcycles of their time, preferred by the police. They were the third popular brand of motorcycles by 1928, behind Harley-Davidson and Indian. This Police Special edition was the star of the New York Auto Show in 1931, the year when Henderson motorcycles were discontinued by their then owner, Schwinn. Watch the video:
