Ducati rider Casey Stoner repelled to get carried away with his top of the rider's championship spot ahead of sixth race in Barcelona. He insisted to stay focus throughout the season. Stoner’s amazing victory at Italian GP has ended Valentino Rossi’s seven times in a row home winning streak. The Australian's victory made him to the top of the MotoGP championship table ahead of Yamaha riders Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo.
"Being leader of the championship at this stage means absolutely nothing. This championship is extremely difficult and competitive and even a victory like the one at Mugello, wonderful as it was, needs to be put behind us so that we can turn our focus to the next race," said Casey Stoner.
